Description: Functioning as our ISO to NQA-1 transition course, this course is designed for lead auditors with previous quality auditing experience in areas such as ISO 9001, AS 9100, ISO 14000, TS automotive, and other industry standards. Less emphasis is spent on standard audit practices and techniques allowing more time for instruction on nuclear industry interpretations and documentation requirements.

This certified course allows participants to meet the requirements for 10CFR50 Appendix B, ASME NQA-1, and ANSI N45.2.23 for training and examination.

Training provides a full skill set of auditing tools including interpretation of nuclear standards, audit planning, interviewing techniques, process flow auditing, handling nonconformances and closing CAR's. Experienced ISO auditors may also choose to take this class to get a detailed look into nuclear auditing processes.
